JOB DESCRIPTION
Design and develop technology solutions using a mix of diverse technologies for Media Excel's core products leveraging existing technologies and applications, and implement new architectural components being introduced to the company. Responsible for high level application architecture, roadmaps, functionality, performance, quality, strategic and tactical planning; act a technical liaison with customers and partners; coordinate integration and interoperability with customers and partner's operational environments and products. Utilize operating systems Linux, Windows, Solaris, FreeBDS; Programming languages C/C++, Python, Perl, PHP, Bash scripting; Web development using HTML, CSS, Java script; Web services XML-RPC, SOAP, REST; Databases MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQlite; design patterns, UML, Object Oriented Analysis and Design and Architectural frameworks; networking and network protocols (TCP, UDP, IP, ARP, DHCP, DNS, S/FTP, SMTP, LDAP, SNMP, SSL, SSH, HTTP); mainstream relevant servers (BIND, PureFTPd, Apache HTTP, Net-SNMP, OpenLDAP, OpendSSH); deployment architectures in scalable, fault tolerant environments in data centers; streaming formats and protocols (MPEG2-TS, RTP/RTSP, RTMP, SmoothStremaing, HLS); cryptographic algorithms and protocols. Supervise two employees.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, or closely related major, and five years progressively responsible experience in the job offered or five years progressively responsible experience in operating systems Linux, Windows, Solaris, FreeBDS; Programming languages C/C++, Python, Perl, PHP, Bash scripting; Web development using HTML, CSS, Java script; Web services XML-RPC, SOAP, REST; Databases MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQlite; design patterns, UML, Object Oriented Analysis and Design and Architectural frameworks; networking and network protocols (TCP, UDP, IP, ARP, DHCP, DNS, S/FTP, SMTP, LDAP, SNMP, SSL, SSH, HTTP); mainstream relevant servers (BIND, PureFTPd, Apache HTTP, Net-SNMP, OpenLDAP, OpendSSH); deployment architectures in scalable, fault tolerant environments in data centers; streaming formats and protocols (MPEG2-TS, TRP/RTSP, RTMP, SmoothStreaming, HLS); cryptographic algorithms and protocols.
